About Us
Family icon painting workshop "Agiografia"
We are an Orthodox family of iconographers, Alexander and Natalia Ketrosan. Since 1997, from the moment of our wedding, we have dedicated our lives to icon painting and church murals. Over these nearly 30 years, our children have joined our work, and our workshop has become a true family business.
We founded the 'Agiografia' workshop at the Church of St. Basil the Great 'On the Hill' in the historical center of Pskov. Over the years, we have painted 24 churches and created more than 40 iconostases.
We work in the Byzantine tradition of the 14th–16th centuries, as well as in the Palekh style. Thanks to our coordination and experience, we can perform murals at a speed of up to 300–400 sq. m. per month, provided the necessary conditions are met (scaffolding, temperature regime, etc.).
Awards
In 2004, for many years of work in decorating Orthodox churches, we were honored with church awards:
- Alexander Ketrosan — Order of St. Sergius of Radonezh, 3rd Class
- Natalia Ketrosan — Order of St. Equal-to-the-Apostles Princess Olga, 3rd Class
