Painting of the Church of the Kaluga Icon of the Mother of God
Convent of the Kaluga Icon of the Mother of God, Kaluga
The Church of the Kaluga Icon of the Mother of God at the convent was completely painted by our workshop in 2021. The total area of the murals was approximately 3,200 square meters.

The work was carried out over the course of a year, in stages and over several visits, due to the organization of scaffolding and the preparation of various sections of the church. Despite the significant volume, all work was completed within the established deadlines and finished ahead of schedule.
The murals cover the entire volume of the church: the altar area, vaults, walls, and main compositional zones. All images were created in accordance with traditional Orthodox iconography and are harmoniously integrated into the architecture of the space.
This project is one of the largest in terms of volume completed by our workshop and demonstrates the ability to perform large-scale church murals in a short period while maintaining high quality of execution.
The paintings are executed in the Byzantine tradition, adhering to the canons of Orthodox church art, with attention to composition, color harmony, and the spiritual content of the images.
