Painting of the Epiphany Cathedral
Miass, Chelyabinsk Region
The Epiphany Cathedral in the city of Miass, Chelyabinsk Region, is one of the largest projects of our icon-painting workshop. The total area of the paintings is approximately 3,500 square meters.

The painting works began in 2013 and are being carried out in stages, as funding becomes available and individual parts of the church are readied. This approach has allowed for the consistent decoration of the cathedral's interior while maintaining the unity of the artistic vision.
To date, the main parts of the cathedral have been painted: the altar area, walls, vaults, and a significant portion of the interior spaces. The final stage of work, including the painting of the narthex and the refectory area, is currently being carried out (summer 2026).
The project demonstrates experience in managing long-term work on a large-scale site, maintaining stylistic unity and high quality of execution over many years.
Work is ongoing. The project is in its final stage.
The paintings are executed in the Byzantine tradition, observing the canons of Orthodox art, with attention to composition, color harmony, and the spiritual content of the images.
