Painting of the Church of St. Basil the Great on the Hill
Pskov
The Church of St. Basil the Great on the Hill in the city of Pskov is the main and "home" church of our icon-painting workshop. It is in this church that the "Agiografia" workshop is located. The painting of the church has been carried out by our team since 2016.

The work was carried out in stages, as individual parts of the church were completed. This approach made it possible to carefully work out each composition and create a cohesive artistic space.
During the project, all the interior spaces of the church were painted: the altar area, walls, vaults, and main compositional zones. The paintings were executed in accordance with traditional Orthodox iconography and harmoniously integrated into the architecture of the ancient Pskov church.
A special place in the design is occupied by the iconostasis, made using silver basma. This element is a unique artistic solution and one of the most significant works of the workshop.
For the painting of the church, the icon painter Alexander Ketrosan was awarded a certificate by Metropolitan Tikhon (Shevkunov) of Pskov, which is a recognition of the high quality of the work.
The paintings are executed in the Byzantine tradition, in accordance with the canons of Orthodox art, with attention to composition, color harmony, and the spiritual content of the images.
