Painting of the Church of St. Sergius of Radonezh

Yugorsk

The Church of St. Sergius of Radonezh in the city of Yugorsk was completely painted by our workshop in 2023. The total area of the paintings was about 1500 square meters.

The work was carried out over four months — from June to October 2023. During this period, all the interior spaces of the church were painted, which made it possible to create a holistic artistic and spiritual space.

The paintings cover the entire volume of the church and include traditional iconographic compositions: the altar area, vaults, walls, and main theological plots.

A feature of this church is the inclusion of scenes from the life of St. Sergius of Radonezh in the paintings. These compositions are organically integrated into the overall iconographic structure and emphasize the dedication of the church.

All the paintings are made in the Byzantine tradition, in accordance with the canons of Orthodox church art, with attention to the harmony of color, composition, and the spiritual content of the images.
